tmira is a company with extensive experience in developing interactive applications for Digitial Television. tmira has developed a large number of interactive applications for local, regional, national and international television stations.

 

tmira has defined an XML-based metalanguage (tmPlayerXML) to describe applications of Digital Television. The language is platform independent, allowing an application to run in several platforms: DVB-MHP, GEM, NCL Ginga, MHEG, OCAP, IPTV.

 

With tmPlayer technology any website can be adapted directly to be presented in TV, offering to the viewer services similar to those found in Internet such as news, sending e-mail, online banking, games,... all accesses through the TV remote control.
