OVERVIEW

tmDeveloper system provides a complete environment for the development and testing of Digital TV interactive applications. It has all the elements necessary to perform a broadcast on DTT: audio / video, DVB-SI signalling, EPG and interactive applications, which can be received by connecting DVB-T/C STB at system modulated output.

tmDeveloper is the lab portable version of tmBroadcast, including a modulator card and the possibility to define several video inputs (files or UDP flows). The system multiplexes up to four channels with videos, DVB-SI and interactive applications.

Due to its reduced dimensions the system is perfect to perform demonstrations and for development and testing laboratories. The system has been designed to develop and test easily and quickly interactive application without any previous knowledge on MHP or Java.

Developers can test and demo their own DVB-J and DVB-HTML applications.

The system includes the development version of the following tmira systems:

• tmBroadcast: system for EPG and interactive applications broadcasting in DVB-T / DVB-C / DVB-S networks .
• tmInteractive: system to manage the return channel of interactive applications .
• tmPlayer: browser of interactive applications based on XML.

tmira offers training courses for all their tools and in particular for tmDeveloper system.
